The 2019 Doing Business Report, a World Bank Group flagship publication, is now out. Doing Business presents quantitative indicators on business regulations and the protection of property rights that can be compared across 190 economies, including Serbia.
The Report inter alia features a ranking of economies based on ease of doing business. In the report for 2019, Serbia is ranked 48, which is five places down compared to last year. From a bright side, Serbia actually scored more points than last year, which should be viewed as an encouragement for proceeding with reforms.
